PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Facebook has arguably become the most destructive force in the world today. Its failure to contain the spread of hateful ideology, disinformation, and deranged conspiracy theories has led to the rise of white supremacy and autocracy around the globe, anti-vaccine hysteria that’s prolonged a deadly pandemic, and a violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
In response to their tone-deaf “More together” campaign for Facebook Groups, I created this parody to highlight the absurdity of Facebook still claiming to be an innocent friendship tool in the face of so much carnage, and to encourage users to #DeleteFacebook in protest.
