PROJECT DESCRIPTION
CalRecycle’s “Recycle Hear” initiative was created to promote recycling in music venues throughout the state and was piloting the launch in San Francisco. To coincide with the launch, CalRecycle wanted to produce a spot that was more cinematic and provocative than the typical, straightforward public service announcement. Given the natural beauty and landmarks of San Francisco, I felt the city should be a character. And a musician kicking a can on his way to perform at a venue felt like the perfect way to tie everything together.
